10th July, B.E. 2567 (2024)
Mr. Phallop attended a multireligious event in Hiroshima, where he signed the "Rome Call for AI Ethics" on behalf of Buddhism. This event was co-organized by the Pontifical Academy for Life of Vatican City, the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace, the Israel’s Commission for Interreligious Relations, and Religions for Peace Japan. The forum aims to promote a sense of shared responsibility among international organizations, governments, institutions, and the private sector to create a future where digital innovation and technological progress respect of humankind and the planet.

The Rome Call for AI Ethics advocates for the development of artificial intelligence that serves every person and humanity, respects human dignity, and does not prioritize profit or the gradual replacement of people.  The multireligious approach to AI Ethics is crucial for enhancing the impact of new technologies in strategic areas such as education, health, social equality, and law.
